A Love Built on Friendship and Faith | Scottdale, PA

“Love is the embodiment of selflessness, the epitome of devotion, the discovery of one’s self in another.”

As I search for the words to describe the kind of love Katie and Dave have for one another, I fall short.  There’s nothing I could say that they wouldn’t have said better in their deeply heartfelt and enlightened wedding vows.

Katie and Dave share a divine love rooted in God.  Their faith is something admirable.  These two spoke so confidently and passionately about their reasons for choosing each other to marry.  Their vows resonated in my soul and gave me a better understanding of what love is and should always be.

Katie and Dave met in college at the University of Pittsburgh, Greensburg, where Dave spent four years in the “friend-zone.”  Eventually, Katie fell in love with Dave’s kind heart and genuine goodness.  Their friendship is the foundation of their marriage.

I had the pleasure of hearing their story over dinner and drinks a few weeks before their wedding day.  We met up at Industry Public House to chat about their plans and immediately, I wanted to be friends with them!  I felt so lucky to be chosen and trusted to document a day I could tell would be special.

Thank you Mr. & Mrs. Coradi for sharing your beautiful love.  Congratulations!!
